I'm working on an indoor level (so no skybox or light_environment) and I can't get the shadow_control to cast shadows for the life of me. I'm just using the default settings right now (pitch/yaw/roll = 80 30 0, color = 128 128 128, distance = 75) which should work fine... Any thoughts?

O.o
You shouldnt need to cast shadows with shadow_control. If you are having a lack of shadows, then add lights. Also look into decreasing lightmap values to make shadows sharper.
