It seems that it doesnt work applying info_overlay's to func_breakable walls..

Is that right.. does overlays/decals only work on world walls and func_detail ?

You can apply overlays to a func_breakable in Hammer. Not sure yet if when you run the game and break the entity if the overlay stays there floating or not though.

Breakable Decals

Well, that's really the best you can do without programming. It works perfectly if you are destroying an object somewhere else, but doesn't work so good if you are destroying the object up close.

I created two breakable walls and the other only has the overlay texture, when that wall is broken it triggers the other to break so problem solved
