I followed CBK's tireswing tutorial to the letter, modifying it only slightly to try and get it to work on a moving platform, somewhat similar to the rope elevator in (I believe) Anticitizen One after the sewer section. Thing is, I can't get the rope to have any length. It's a rope between a crane and a crate. The crate just sits on the floor while the crane moves and stretches out the rope. Any ideas?

did you forget the phys_lengthconstrant?

Remember to set Entity 1 as the crane, and Entity 2 as the crate.

Or, set Entity 2 to the move_rope.

I had everything. I fixed it -- somewhat. I put in some info_constraintanchors and it started working, but it would crash every time you punted the hook. So I took it out. smiley

If there's any way to fix this new problem I'll put it back in; it was a cool map feature

ok I need to stop wasting space on these forums. Every time I ask for help I end up getting an idea 5 minutes after the topic is posted and it ends up fixing the whole thing. smiley
