I really need a sun-glare effect in my map, but I cant seem to do it. I know you have to use env_sun, but I cant get mine to work (And the wiki didnt help). Please explain how I do this. When I mean sun-glare I mean the kind you look at in maps such as cs_cobble. Also, on a less important note, how does one do HDR? I cant get the weird bloom effect thingy (Where you look at a new area and it glares bright before dimming down in a second)

For the first question:
Make sure the pitch of the env_sun is correct. The pitch goes from -90 to 0, where -90 is straight up and 0 is on the horizon.
Also, make sure Use Angles is set to Yes.
As for HDR, I haven't had a ton of experience with it. I do know however that an env_tonemapcontroller is important to have in your map. You also need to make sure that the sky textures are HDR compatible. They should have HDR somewhere in the texture name.
