I've been doing a lot of work with the I/O system, and pretty much have this nailed down now. I can create moving spawn points, objectives that can be captured/destroyed, and various flag escort stuff. My problem now is time. At the rate I'm going, this will take many months. I am not asking someone to make a map for me. What I am asking is if a few ambitious people want to donate some time to speed this up. Building here, room there, etc. I have the mechanics, just need a map to put them in. So any thoughts, interest, or am I just fooling myself?l

Hallo. Though I am a new member, been
browsing the site for some time. Lot of good info here, so I'm hoping
to get some help. Anyways, down to business. If you haven't heard of or
played it, there are a few objective based maps floating around for dm,
similar to the ctf conversions. The tut here for setting up a 'push'
game is what I used for a one-way ctf map
The problem with aforementioned maps is they were released a year ago
at the latest, and lack the details to be great; optimizing, team
balance, skybox lol.

lol so noted for the future. But please share some thoughts? I've been asking around on like a dozen sites without so much as a comment. Like on the verc forums, I made post detailing how I've almost figured out how to make npc-vehicles; like riding a barney. Is there really so little interest left in the community?

Thats an intersting quote there that should be discussed - however this is a mapping question board, and isnt the place for it. But I will say that no one really cares for HL2 DM anymore because of its crappyness (in terms of lag).
But im sure eventually someone will want to help you - as it stands Ive got my hands dipped into to many projects already.
