I spent atleast 2 days on a map without sleep pretty much, made it absolutely perfect, then accidently and unknowingly deleted the env_sun and when I started the map, as you can tell it was black. I thought it was a compiling error and scrapped the entire project which was, by the way heavenly, well I just started that bsp. up again after deleting the vmf and I realized that the env_sun was gone and it was a perfectly good map. I need to decompile it obviously to get it back into vmf form, but I don't know where, or even if there are bsp decompilers. If anyone can help I would gladly appreciate it, this map isn't a noob map, I was planning on it to be a big release.

VMEX can decompile maps ( link )
But I'm afraid you won't be very happy with it as the resulting brush geometry is.... "guessed" by the decompiler thus pretty weird.
Maybe one of that harddisk recovery tools that can find already deleted files? I never used them but heared they helped some people.
