I have made a complete map after the movie hypercube. It looks fine really, but I need to figure out how to make the entire map smaller, so it will be more realistic. Is there a way to scale this down, or do I need to select every part of the map and make it smaller in the side views?

Select the entire map, go to Tools >> Transform, and type the factors you want in the text fields. (For example, to scale by 50%, type .50 in each field)

select the whole map then hit ctrl+m. that brings up the scale dialogue box.
however, scaling the whole map will inevitably cause brushes to be moved from the grid, which can lead to all sorts of problems. gl with your attempt.
