1) i have a npc_citizen as male 06 and rebel (wich makes it male 09) iny way "dont give in to player poosh" is checked and the npc still avoids my character i even copyed a npc citizen that didnt move away changed the model and the name and the type to rebel and it still runs away saying "let me get outa ur way" god i hope i can fix this cuz i would hate to put player blockers every were he is to move!

2) i made a working choerography using face poser i even got him to look into the camera but the emotions dont seem to work even after deleting the logic_choergraphed_scene and remaking it. Please do not give me a link i spend enouf time making the level i shouldent have to go and track down the answer even though i just atemted to, a simple explanation/instruction would be great, thank you.

Have you tried re-installing your half-life 2?<html><head><link rel="stylesheet" href="themes/standard.css" type="text/css"></head><body topmargin=2 leftmargin=2>

I doubt reinstalling HL2 would work.

I'm not very familiar with the HL2 singleplayer entities, but you could try scripting these NPC's to stay in place, much like the ones at the start of HL2, talking about the combine invading their block. Alternately, using a player clip brush could work too, though it's a crude fix. Perhaps in combination with a clip brush for these NPC's to keep them in place.

As for the choreography, did the Valve wiki have any usefull info on this? I've never done anything with these tools so I can't help you much, I'm afraid.

I've got the same problem as you on the first one. Many of my NPCs also move, even with that flag checked. As for your second problem, when you use FacePoser you have to set the expressions. I think it's called a Flex Animation. I'm not sure how that works but hopefully it'll narrow your search. I just learned how to use FP myself.. literally by myself, every tutorial I found was garbage. Looking at the sdk file helped a tiny bit.

Good luck. I'll come back and make another reply to your thread if I find the answer. Right now, I have to get some sleep because I've been up for way too long.
