Trying to load a map on my comp, by either
bringing down the console and typing "map <map name>" or creating
a server.. both ways give me this error

I've tried deleting ClientRegistry.blob, as thats usually the cause of and solution to all of lifes problems, but not this time!
The other day i went on a proper server, came off then the map loaded ok. Wont do it this time =/

Anyone know how to fix this ?

Does this happen with the official/custom maps others have done too or just with the maps you've compiled?

I usually get errors like these when I've done something terribly wrong(but the P.O.S. still compiles) while mapping(invalid brushes etc.).

Its with the official maps too and its only CS:S that the problem is with. All the other games ive got installed on Steam work fine.

Ive tried the things it suggests on here :

Verifying the game cache.
Defragging the game cache.
Uninstalling and then deleting the CS:S folder and installing it again.

None worked.
