OK, so I'v made many models for HL2 and i've used the following pipeline Maya->obj->Milkshape->smd. This has always worked great, but I wanted to start using Maya and the smd plugin for Maya. I have exported a few models using the export and they all have the same problem, THEY ARE TINY! Now, I understand how to model for source, my up axis is Z, my units are inches, etc... These same models when exported to obj and then brought into milkshape work fine, so I'm thinking it has something to do with the smd plugin for Maya. Has anyone else run into this? I currently increase the scale in the qc file to fix it, but I wanted to post this anyway to see if anyone else has suffered from this.
