Nice job. I like how you put all the different skies too.

Finally, the SnarkPit has its own sky reference. Not only that, but the reference screens look beautiful because they are in-game shots.

Nice work.

I can see that an amazing amount of effort went into this. I only wish you had made it 56k friendly. Image links. Use links.

Make this page 56k friendly and I will score it accordingly.

[edit] I adjusted my score. 980k is excessive but considering the amount of screens I suppose its ok.

2 things however.
1) You did something wrong creating the screens. Each are 93k and blurry. I have seen 50k shots that were much, much more clarity. I suggest you look into why.
2) would asking for thumbs instead be asking to much?
[edit 2] score adjusted accordingly.

Very clear, very simple, very direct. Like others have said, thanks for posting the screenshots of the skies as well.

Underdog, thanks for the suggestion, I've now linked to the reference picture instead of having it in the tutorial itself.

Answeres to your other two points:
1) Actually, it's one big 800 by 14515 px picture containing all the skies. Did it this way simply because I couldn't upload more than 8 images. That's why it's almost 1 mb in file size. smiley

2) Fixed a link instead as you suggested at first. smiley

I expected the yellow sky names to be links, so perhaps that's a flaw in this tutorial now, but the rest is ok, easy to follow and handy for those that don't like to type 'skybox' in their texture browser. No, it's also handy to compare skies. Nice tutorial. smiley

Perhaps what you could do is group the skies by their category (IE: day1, day2, etc.) and then make seperate images for each category. Then you could post a link to each category. This would allow you to create less than 8 images, but at least cut down on the huge single image.

I'm going to attempt to create a test map where the sky changes from day to dusk. Wish me luck.
