Note: A Lot of my old maps were published under the name Gun_Sgt_Hartman. I long ago changed to Degenatron, and so that is now my mapping name. I am not updating the text files of my old maps if they've already been published and so they will still have the GSH name in them. They are mine and I have the RMFs to prove it.
I stopped mapping because my favorite mod (Op4CTF) had been killed by Steam. I was very unhappy with the lack of support and just kind of dropped the whole thing. I never really warmed up to HL2DM, and so I only produced 1 map (debatable from Yak's review of it
) for HL2DM.Well, recently, through sheer chance, I fired up Opposing Force and was delighted to find that Op4CTF was re-instated. Apparently, this was old news I never heard. So, I've been playing and falling in love all over again.
So, of course the next step is to start producing maps.That way when(IF!) Black Mesa and Operation Black Mesa (EVER!) release, I'll be back in full mapping mode to contribute to those communities.
