Your scale and architecture of buildings seems sound enough, you'll surely want to have corresponding rubble textures on the edges of any blown-out walls/roof-tops. As well, little details like wood supports/beams in and around the building that make sense are good cover as well as detail for creating a more realistic/believeable environment.
