Map Description

This map has a discussion topic which can be visited here

Medium size map for small fights (8-10 players) based around an abandoned monastery. The allies have to blow up a plane and the germans have to protect it. To make things a little more frustrating...ive put the allies' bomb 5 meters away from the plane, in the heart of the german base smiley. The main idea is to blow eachother apart. This is a beta so it may still have some flaws. The biggest one would be the r_speeds (HUGE: 2000w_poly!) but im going to be fixing this problem soon.
Nice Day of Defeat map but laggy. Im still working on that smiley .

As it is it needs a fair bit of work, but as a start it looks promising. I'm loving that bell tower.

I really agree with Tracer on the foliage. The key is to create depth and variety to foliage by creating multiple layers to it and by having sections that move out from the hedge/bushes to hide in/move through. Also using different angles for the textures to give the impression its growing on uneven ground works well.

All that masked foliage just looks terrible. I can't really see enough of the map to tell any more than that.

The monastry looks very good ... I like that church thingy with the cross on it in the third screenshot
