Map Description

This map has a discussion topic which can be visited here

Sadly, fallen into the deep abyss of "will finish later for HL2" category of HL1 modifications. New plan: Polish everything up and adapt it to HL2. The kind of stuff I wanted to do (squad fighting, etc.) wasn't readily possible in HL. But the biggest problem was time; that is, not much of it. Oh well.

That first screenshot looks like you have already ported it to source and are taking advantage of the 3D skybox smiley

Can't wait to have some SP fun to wind up the HL again. I just finished playing OPFOR for the third time. It's so short... They need those pills they're recommending for me through the e-mail...

Campaign I like how you generally go with the historical architecture and locations over the cliched cement bunkers.

Looking forward to it's release. I'm interested in how you want to implement these grunts in the story for this map...

More like "zenith" than "nadir", methinks.

Somehow the military grunts fit into that level, and I just LOVE your self-depracation! I give you five stars, in spirit.

Actually, the title is referring moreso to the common dictionary definitions:

1. [Astronomy] A point on the celestial sphere directly below the observer, diametrically opposite the zenith.
2. The lowest point (i.e. "the nadir of their fortunes")

Funny, I didn't even know who David Gemmell was. Interesting... smiley

And there was me thinking every area of Persian Letters was interesting enough! Nice addition to it, certainly makes the area feel more majestic. I look forward to the map pack immensely smiley

PS: Whats the name from? Not been reading David Gemmell books have you?
