This is my first attempt at mapping. I thought I would do something small, and this is what came to my mind. When the military and police s.w.a.t. teams train for CQB (close quarters battle) they use what's called a tirehouse, basically old tires stacked up about 10 ft high and filled with dirt. I could not find a suitable tire texture so I used concrete and plywood. I can not get the plywood to look right so if anyone has any ideas on it let me know. I would like some feedback on what you all think, positive or negative.

Hmmm... looks like a Hammer Tutorial level of some kind. Anyhoo good luck with making it look good. You can fiddle around with the plywood texture in the texture applying tool. Not sure of its exact name coz I cant be arsed to look. smiley

This doesn't really look like a single-player map. Also Hammer screens != compiled in-game screens.

Ehm.. first of all, they're hammer shots. Which is a bad thing. And none of the screenshots contain more than 6 visible brushes. You really should get some more done untill you start showing shots.
