Thanks for hosting it, 417. I'll definitely look into those issues - I thought I spaced the spawns far enough apart, but apparently not. Let me know if any other map issues come up, and I'll see if I can't address them.

Running this map on my clans TDM FF/CTF server.

We had to put in more weapons, some health/armor stations to get people to play on it.

Game play is great with 8 or more players!

Only issue we have seen is some werid lag when a player was pinned to the wall with the crossbow in one of the re-spawn rooms.

It could also use more spawn points as players get stuck because they spawn in together.

I'm sure these won't be issues when it comes out for FF. It'l going to be a great FF map for sure.

Thanks for making the map Imbrifer!

Interesting interpretation of the original.

I can only rate the looks so far and what bothers me actually hasn't anything to do with the map itself. It's HL2's texture set that is just so incredibly grey. I miss the strong reds and blues, contrast in general.

A more orange sunset lighting for the outside (like in the TFC version) and some shady spots inside could help, but some more colorful textures would be nice too.

Also don't forget the cubemaps!

Thanks for the input, everyone.

I've had several suggestions for adding some more spunky lighting here and there, which is something I can definitely do.

The FF version of this map is listed as 99% complete under the Fortress-Forever category of the Snarkpit. I'll take suggestions from here and from the Fortress-Forever forums and make changes to the Fortress-Forever version of 2morforevever, but I think I'll leave this one how it is.

Interesting, satchmo. Never played the singleplayer of FarCry - just got it to go around in boats and shoot at my buds on the LAN.

For some reason, it reminds me of Far Cry. The first screenshot looks like the spot where Crow took off on a helicopter, and the second screenshot looks like the inside of that cargo ship in the beginning of the game.

Reminds me of epicentre, but also of 2fort or that other cool original level.

Omg the memories. 2morefort was the first custom tfc map i ever played i think, was a great map too, so good choice to remake. nice brushwork and texturing, but idd the lighting is a bit bland. great work though.

Brushwork is a lost art with the addition of "models". Good everything, lighting is a little dark for multiplayer (add in some flares, or "glow sticks" maybe to light it up), But its good where it is. 9/10 (because the mod isnt out yet)

The lightning is very relaxed. I like that alot, but it gets too relaxed in the end. If you would make som places with more fixed lighting it would look awesome, i think. Great job.

I like the curves. Fits well with the other FF maps I've seen so far.

But yeah, Some team specific lighting would be nice to spice it up.
