Hmm, I clicked and downloaded this hoping to find something with the word 'box' in the name that wasn't shockingly bad. I was mistaken. However, I must give credit - it isn't really a box... well it is, more like "Xen Islands floating in a (xen) Sky Box" - and i must confess i was quite an addict to that op4ctf map of the same nature (op4ctf_xendance I think). This isn't quite the same. The level doesnt have low gravity physics - jumping in space or trying to jump to another platform is out of the question, you will plummet to the ground and generally make a fool of yourself. If you do manage it you may have difficulty spotting your landing area, as the the max viewable distance seems to have been set to about 3 units. Damn! And as it's a box, you can't actually jump off the edge of the map in some comical drunken way.
May as well end the review now, the map was ok in terms of the Xen sculpting, but really not up to any playable standard. Lighting and texturing was ok, all that needs addressing now are the "other bits". Like everything else.
I hope to see a revised version, as I myself am quite a fan of these style of maps. Shame most of them go dreadfully wrong.

Verdict

It's a box. It's also a bad attempt at 'Xen'. Sadly, two wrongs never make a right.

Design
Although it looks like a Xen map, it sure as hell doesn't feel like one.

Gameplay
Killbox with floating platforms. You know the score.

Verdict
It's a box. It's also a bad attempt at 'Xen'. Sadly, two wrongs never make a right.

Pros
Being a Xen map would be enough for some

Design
It's a killbox
