CoD 7 Map Nuketown for Counter Strike Source | Created by dafatcat.

I didnt like the "simpsons" color that was used for this map so I decompiled the map and stole the houses and basically everything else and retextured everything, changed the angle by the two houses so it doesn't align to eachother if that makes any sense?

sorry for not asking for permisson dafatcat but now the damages is allready done.

you can download the original map from http://cssmods.com/?p=270

and yeah, hope you and your friends enjoy.

Its too bad you don't have any mannequin models to put here and there...

Yeah mannequin's would been awesome but I have never tried to add custom models into maps, hopefully someone knows. smiley

I believe Left 4 Dead (2?) has some, but I don't know if it's possible/allowed to use them in your CSS map.

By the way, I thought I recognized the map from Call of Duty until I read that it was indeed from the game smiley

Played that map at a friend's house a while ago

I played around with the 3D skybox but to no avail
the one of many things i can't seem to handle in hammer smiley

I could try it once more of course but i think some one else should do that job. smiley

This is such a great idea for a map.. it looks period and like the images you see of the 1950 nuke test in New Mexico and Nevada. I look forward to running around this map... will give a better review then.

The problem area I see is no 3D skybox to sell the whole thing to us as a real world area. I think if you put a 3D skybox of rolling hills like in Dust up to a mountain range in the distance, it would be perfect.
