This is effectively a rushed stop-gap map (and hence I've been a bit half-arsed with it), to fill the creative void in my head. It's called yard because it is set in and around a small concrete yard, enclosed by buildings. With a crashed truck nearby. 'N' stuff. I might not even end up finishing it, as it's just to get ideas flowing for my other map projects, despite its small size.

The direction of your light_environment is more than a little off.

Nice usage of those textures. Find a better sky when you have a chance.

You should also maybe throw in some fire hydrants and pipes along the buildings; like power pipes, power lines, etc.

Meh, I rushed it. That's why. :P If I do plan to release it, that'll be something I'll address. I just thought "gah, wreckage....too much work for something I started on a whim". Cheers for the positive comments so far, I might actually end up taking this map seriously.

Not only that Vash, but the fact it seems to have crashed into the wall without causing the slightest bit of damage to it fills my mind with doubts

This has a nice realistic look to it. The thing I noticed is the size scale; the truck looks way to large for the road. It looks like it takes up 1.5 lanes. Maybe shrink the truck or make the roads bigger. It looks great nonetheless.

That trucks fliped cargo looks fake setting next to the un-flip truck
