This is a a discussion topic for the map "Monotone" by Campaignjunkie which can be found here

Originally an entry for 2004 Snarkpit Mapping Contest. It was one of those blasted flatshade maps. Emphasizing architecture and shapes instead of them fancy textures. More info coming later. Will probably also change all of the textures to have a blue-ish tone. Or not.

If only someone could make black/white models for HL ... shouldn't be difficult ... load up the models in HL Model viewer, export the model bitmap, convert it to black and white, import it again and export the model ... just an idea

pretty fly for a flatshaded blacknwhite guy.. yea i suck. Looks great CJ, i imagine it has more depth ingame than in those screens. I really like the architecture, looks great. Kind of reminds me of Tron. Keep it up, i wanna see this eyeblisterer ingame

Shouldn't that be "duotone", given that there are two textures in use for most of the map? :P

Lovin' the brushwork but I still feel a third colour would help give the map more definition, but then thats true by definition (see what I did there?!) I suppose. I just think two textures is a bit too much of a limitation, though you have done damn well with them thus far.
