This is a a discussion topic for the map "Murmuring_Cathedral" by Cyax which can be found here
Map description:
A map I created in a little while. It is a cathedral that takes place in a void, nothing holds its structure but the architecture itself. About nine rooms, the main rooms floor can be decreased by using the lever switching connectivity half from the upper region to the lower regions.

Nice work cyax changed alot since i saw the rmf last time but yea its definitly a dark map and it will most likely make it into the midevil mod. but might I add it could use a new skybox you should try that there are a few sites that have sky boxes for download check them out at PHL sometime.

I like the concept and most of the implementation - a pretty good map. I especially like the moving floor.

* There was a pit that I fell into that I couldn't get out of.

* There are no weapons or ammo

* It would be nice if the default lever position opened an alternate route instead of dead-ending in a hall.

Over all, a pretty good design.

The texture repetition reminds me of some of the interior areas of Ico on the PS2...

If you haven't played that game, go play it! [/standard Ico pimp]

...and also Vagrant Story's end area to an extent. Both of those are good things in a way, I guess, since they are two of my all time favourite games in terms of visuals. Don't take that too well though, its not really meant as a big compliment I'm afraid!

You really shouldn't have used the desert sky, and I think you would have been better off with more textures, but its obviously a concious decision to use so few so I'll respect that.

Oh and A_S is right, higher res screenshots would be nice, go for 640x480 or 800x600 in future, those are kinda the standard

Looks funky enough for only a couple of textures. The screens are a bit small resolution wise.
