This is a a discussion topic for the map "de_security" by sMeLLyCaT which can be found here

Map description:

Right then, my map de_security has finally made it the beta 5 stage and thus far has been good fun to play in both gathers and public alike. So, I decided a little adding to the snarkpit couldn't do it any harm. :)

Basically, the map is a small storage facility that contains the vaccine to a man made virus. The Terrorists must try to destroy them or alternately destroy the transport waiting to take the vaccines away. The CTs must (obviously) try to stop the terrorists from doing this.

I guess that this last 10% will mainly be spent on asthetics/optimising and final re-texturing. Yay... :P

Reposted the screenshots that disappeared at some point and uploaded the beta file to Snarkpit. Glad I still had it lying about. :)

I like the back-story for this map. Not entirely original, but I can see it was thought about in the actual design.

Overall it's not a bad looking map, and I imagine it plays pretty well too.

No qualms here except for the fact I think it feels kinda empty. You have that huge open area with nothing going on in one corner.

I like the bridge with the gulley underneath. I think that makes for a cool gameplay mechanic. The functioning doors are cool too.

All-in-all, for a 1.6 map, it looks and feels like an original. With my time spent in Source maps though I long for more detail, but that's just me.

Nice map!
