Map description:

A deathmatch map which is made for the purpose of creating fun challenges and situations.
There's several buttons you can press with does crazy stuff. In the middle of the map is a big machine who comes down from the roof and kills anyone who happens to be in the nearby area. The floor can also be opened, either from a button at the floor or the lab.
works with a couple of players..

i've updated the map changed the doors so they toggle instead of closing on they're own, (I realize that can be annoying). Also put some more cover in the hallway.. smiley

The map was pretty fun (although I only played it by myself). I liked the laser pit, I'm sure that would be pretty fun to torment people with, the only thing though is I don't see why anyone would go down there in the first place? What incentive are you giving people to enter this 'death trap'? the benefit should outweigh the cost. but I see none.

I really liked how you included some ambient sounds for certain locales. As small as this map is, it was very well done.

Only thing I wish you could have made was some kind of scene outside the window. I think there could have been something to look out at, to give semblance to the place. A setting to add to the name.

All-in-all it's a nice tightly packed dm map with plenty little features to keep a group of say about 4-8 people entertained. great map!

Thanks for the review! The reason why you would want to go down there;
1. If you open the floor, there is a gauss gun with some ammo on one of the trusses.
2. There is also a teleport (open the rusty door beneath the floor), which transport you to the room with the green light in the control room (there is a rocket launcher there).

I really should have written that in the info. That's not something you immediately think about :)

On your other point, yup some kind of scenery would be nice, I should have built something.
Thanks!

Very nice map, well built and suprisingly creative. Really liked the whole "control room" idea. Also laughed seeing people getting fried trying to ride the big laser thingy down into the big room.

Probably my only complaint was the vents. Some of them break and some don't, so I sometimes would try to get one to open just to find out, after being shotgunned from behind, that it was a breakable. And really, if I could choose, I would want all of them to be rotating doors (cuz those are just plain cool :D )

But other than that it is a very balanced map (in my opinion) and the only real improvement I can see is mabye one other secret type room (referencing the portals as the first)

Great job man, good luck on future projects :k1tt3h: :cowjump:
