welcome to dod_retake.

built and compiled to run with the latest updated dods.

the years 1944.
pushing thro france the allie forces are met with large resistance by axis forces, dug in and willing to hold their ground. espaecially in the small village of Caumont.
with the fighting being so close and fast casualts are bound to be high, but re-enforcements are to hand and the battle to "retake" will be tough.

This looks good. I like how the churchyard will provide lots of routes for fast changing of flags on either side of town. It will be interesting to see how MGs handle the map, as it doesn't look like a sniper paradise. Any recommendations for the player load?

Considering this church has taken a direct shell and lost its roof, the surrounding churchyard is immaculate. No holes, and those gravestones are immaculate in the face of artillery fire. Seems a little odd..

This piano easily blocks the door if hit by a grenade, could be an annoyance for some players. Perhaps make it breakable or just a prop_static.

This light flickers, yet the model shines solid white. Seems strange again.

Aside from that, all looks fine. Needs some ambient sound in the background though, the rain is there but it seems a little empty and lifeless otherwise.

hi thx for the reply.
i hope ive typed ok as i cant see what im typing for some reason.
the ligth is a bug and will be fixed.
the piano is to offer mgs some closer to the room should they feel it.
and the sounds- many clans-leagues prefer lower ambitous to hear, its a tough call.
the church on the other hand got blown uup in 1942 and the headstones got fixed.
