I am a current graduate of Full Sail's Game Design and Development program. Lately it's been a pain to get into the game industry as an entry level programmer so right now I have a job at a department store. Since the pressure of deadlines for code development is not here right now I've studied my focus towards game engine programming. I'm still not sure which aspect of the engine I enjoy the most, since they are all challenging and fun. Currently I'm in the process of writing an engine and level editor to go with it.
Even though I usually don't map for HL now, and don't really plan to start with HL2 mapping for some time, I enjoy the people here at TheSnarkPit and I try to teach them other things besides HL mapping ;). The people here, although not always getting along, are a great group of friends, and they make staying here worth it.

This map takes place inside of a recreation center, a place where people can see a show while dining, get a drink at the bar, shoot someone up in a computer game at an Internet Cafe or take swim in the pool. This map overlooks a city all lit up at night and the pool is outside, near the top of the skyscraper. It's good for about 4 to 8 people.

Well, since I don't have time to work on it, nor my other AHL map, this release is the final for a while, if I ever feel like revamping it when things settle down.

This map was started by Klown, with some mapping advice from me. After a few days the first beta was formed. It was, like all fy maps, a basic layout. Klown sent me the source file since the map felt very clausterphobic. Overnight I redid the atmospheric aspect, putting in a sky and reducing the lighting so it was an open but still dark-ish map. We tested it with some more friends and I gave the new source back to Klown, he made a few changes to the layout, submitted it back to me, then I became part of the layout process, greatly developing the additions he made. So back and for it's going, improving drastically each day. We've decided the map is not worth making textures for, so we'll leave it at complete as is.

Beta
The goal of this map is to recreate the cathedral in Cowboy Bebop: Session 5, Ballad of Fallen Angel. I have gone texture and skybox hunting and found some stuff that I think will suit the map.

This map has been cancelled in favor of it being done for UT2k3, and more hopefully Action UT2k3.
