Hey.

I'm just a mapper, who maps solely for half life 2 (previously just half life)
I'm an official mapper for the svencoop mod, and hope to make more maps for the Sven coop half life 2 mod.
At the moment I'm getting used and trying to take advantage of the source engines possibilities for mapping.

interested in other non mapping stuff but i wont list that here

Beta
This is my first hl2dm which I think is good enough to release.
It's a sort of rural / farm based map.

The download is for the first beta version.
Screenshots are of the 2nd beta which is currently in progress.

Also:

Errors I've fixed are:
  • Lines in the skybox.
  • Missing texture under the cars.
  • Grass sprites in the skybox
  • Wheelbarrow shader
  • Ceiling of the house.
  • The huge shadow by the farmhouse.
  • Couple of smaller errors
Improvements:
  • Covered up all the visible displacement map seams.
  • Tripled the amount of terrain in the 3d skybox.
  • Changed some of the props and amount of them in the kitchen
  • Added ceiling supports and reduced the room size in the farmhouse.
  • Added slightly more detail to the farmhouse.
  • Some more trees.
  • Working gas canisters.
Any feedback or suggestions are welcomed.

Just an outtake from my planned mappack. Added a few custom textures and a fair amount of detail. Gameplay revolves quite heavily around randomly decided events and battles.

Well, this is my latest, and most successful map to date.
Why is this so? Well it's been officially included with the latest Svencoop version, 3.0.
The maps basically a black mesa themed map, but I've tried to make it more interesting by adding more puzzles and sequence and tried to move away from the constant killing of monsters idea. It features alot of random events as well.
So please try it out and rate it as well!
