A deathrun map set inside lambda facilities (Location of Half-Life 1). Taking place after the events of Half-Life 1, the facility is destroyed and contains many residual portals, the players must navigate through these destroyed areas and portals to reach the terrorist.

This map has two versions; deathrunprime and deathrunprime_hard, a normal and hard version of same map, choose which one is best for your server!

Players: Max 26, with 1-2 Terrorists. Difficulty: Medium & Hard (Requires Bhop skill and LJ skill). Time to complete: 2-5 minutes.
All custom content is included into the .bsp file. Please rate and comment!

Deathrun_Icarus 2 Is a fun new deathrun map created for those who like a good challenge.

It is quite hard and is not advised to be played by beginners of the deathrun game type.

Some features include: 1. Obstacles that change from round to round (Random obstacles) 2. Many traps for the terrorist to use, no overpowered traps 3. Some secret locations in the map for CT's (for equipment and health)

More info: This map took a couple months to make and was a fun project to work on, It is a sequence map after the first map, Deathrun_Icarus, however it was designed completely differently than the first. I hope you like the changes. Extreme attention to detail was taken to have a high detailed map with good performance at the same time. This map was tested on a 32 player server several times, it worked well and all found bugs were fixed. Unlike Icarus1 map I previously created, I added several traps for the terrorist to use in this map.

The WAD / Textures have been included into the BSP file during compilation.

This map was made / created by me, Skals, for the 29th TWHL competition "Map something historical" which this entry won.

The map was finished in a couple of days before the 30 creation days dead line, which was 23rd December 2010. Since the competition was to map something historical I had decided to map the Cuban bay of pigs, which is the location where Americans tried invading cuba during their revolution.

The WPolys in this map are quite high, however the EPolys are really low. Since the map is quite small it does not lag, unless played on an old computer or a bad server. The map is very detailed and has some nice camps. The map is good for a 8 on 8 battle.

Hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed mapping it! Have fun and don't camp too much :)
