My newest WIP is a map with a crazy setting! The setting is a mix from Old Greece and Industrial Style , which means : Big greece temples next to rotten machines and industrial buildings!

From other Forums i know that it`s style causes different oppinions! Some like it , others don`t. One point , u can`t talk away , is , that it`s not a REALISTIC MAP for a REALISTIC MOD, but : WHY NOT? Does that fact kill the fun ? Not for me!

Gameplay: The map will be a DE Map with two Bombspots! After is finished , i maybe`ll release gameplay-modified versions ( SCout only , Shotgun Only , Mini_Zeus....we`ll see! )

This is my first ever attempt at CS mapping (well, second, but the first never got anywhere), although I've been Single Player mapping for a little while now. This is going to be my first released map...it's loosely modelled on the famous cs map de_dust, which should explain the abundant crates :) Remember that some of these crate are explosive - and will kill anyone camping in the camping spots available nearby! Thanks to MayheM, the author of de_mayhem which gave me this idea in the first place :)
This map tries to emphasise two things that seem to be slipping away in CS these days; teamwork and nightvision. A good portion of the map is pretty much unusable without nightvision - including one of the two bomb sites. Credit goes to DaveJ, the creator of de_dust, and the texture artist for that map - I think it was maccy - and also to Koci/El Presidente/Mr. Pokey for help with beta testing, and for co-ercing me into having pitch black tunnels. Beta testing credit also to dcmain. The storyline:

A group of terrorists have taken control
of a hitherto secret, unmanned facility
in the middle east responsible for the
co-ordination of that country's anti-air
defense. A group of 4 different countries'
best men from their own counter-terrorism
groups have been called in to neutralise
the threat, but the terrorists have become
aware of this. There are two critical areas
in the facility - a SAM site, which, if
destroyed, will leave the area open for
delivery of all the terrorists they need,
and the control centre of the facility
itself - a large, sealed-off underground
cavern containing the relay control
core.

Not the best map I ever created, but I realised that unless I released something soon, I'd never release anything at all. With Monqui's permission, I hope to get it reviewed at HLAtlas. For the rest of the credits, see the text file - the only ones not in there is to Kornflakes for offering to help me with the overview files :)

Newer News: The map really IS being finished now. With the valued help of Snarkpit's very own Wild Card, I've managed to iron out the worst bits. I'm afraid this map is reaching beyond my interest - I rarely play CS any more, and it is becoming a struggle for me to finish this. However, I do promise that it will be finished - I just can't promise you optimum R-speeds, although I have made every effort I can to try and lower them short of hint brushes - which I very much doubt would be much use in this map. The latest version is, as always, available at:

It's my first completed cs map, its small, its fy_ and its random. enjoy!

I know the details arent great, but its small, i wanted to make a cs map in the fy style in my kind of span. i will probably make a few revisions to this, add more details and things. Many thanks for the comment.

Its rc1 of my fy_icewar with new stuff!
they may be all indoor shots, but thats the main parts that have changed.

+Added trims for the walls
+trims on windows and doors
+Windows are now smaller so campers will pay the price for being found
+Main building now accessable
+improved lighting
+higher res vhe h4x0r edition texture so you can read it

fy_coach is an attempt at an original and cool looking fy map. It is based on two adjacent moving trains. Right now, it is nearly completed but I want to submit this version (1.1) before coming out with version 1.2, because I want to know what to fix so that it is a lot of fun. Please, comments/suggestions/critiques are welcome! Thanks.

Counter Strike cs_pine

I made this map about a year ago, so i'm just whoring it a bit :D

but anyways, its a mansion like cs map, but feels a lot different. The layout is a lot different, hostages have to be brought to the opposite side of the house, so the gameplay doesnt stay focussed on the house front.
So the rounds start with cts besieging and penetrating the house, then mostly a cat and mouse game inside the house, with the round ending with the cts succesfully or unsuccesfully sneaking out the house with the hostages and getting their arse at the rescue zon.

Dunno if you hate cs, but its still worth checking out as i've added some neat effects, like a working clock and bugs being lit up wy the spotlights. Also the insides of the house are modelled fairly detailed.
