Half-Life: Deathmatch Stranded!

This was a very small deathmatch map that really seemed to annoy some reviewers on the net. However, it had good texturing and what we thought to be very hectic game flow. The airlock was also really neat, although if I had it to do over, I'd make the door a func_train instead of a func_door, because players getting caught under the door would ruin the sequence sometimes. Other than that it was cool to have players get sucked out into the void of space.

I had 5 or 6 friends that came over regularly for LAN play and they ALWAYS asked for this map.

Half-Life: Deathmatch The Coolant Station

This was another one I made for LAN games, but back when Radium was doing reviews for HL, it got a pretty good review there. As with all my maps, it has detail, but for the computers that were available in 1999, I had to be pretty sparing.

Half-Life: Deathmatch Beneath the World

This was a subterranean industrial-themed map which was kind of large. It had a few nice effects, including the world's largest pool of radioactive cheese... and also a lightning bolt generator that kills you.

You asked for bigger pictures, so I put 'em up.

A medium sized Half-Life deathmatch map i've started earlier this year (2004). It's set (as the name implies) in a warehouse including the nearer environment aswell as some canals underneath.

I was late the the HL1 mapping game, and thus the reason for posting up this map after HL2 has been released. This is not a first map attempt, spent a lot of time tweaking this one around. Had to get rid of some stuff because it was slowing down the engine so it's not as pretty as it could be. Just wish I hadn't finished it 3 days before HL2 came out. Good experience otherwise. Half-Life: Deathmatch Area 172

This map will be a secret military base that goes deep into the ground were no one can find it ...... well other than you lol. This secret base is called Area 172. There will be lots of secrets in this map. There also will be some traps. If you go deep you might find the gman and some aliens. There are also many ways to get back to the top. Most weapons will be inside. The top of the map will be a big out doors area while the inside ... well lets just say I cant tell you right now, its top secret. But I can tell you, you just might find a UFO inside a hanger outside, but thats if you can find it.

Pictures: The Left most picture is a hallway to the one of the entrances to Area 172.

The two other pictures as you can tell have not been lighted well yet. The next time I post a picture of the outside it will be a night time sky. Also the ground wont stay flat. Just a reminder that these two pictures will change.

Rats style map set in a bedroom - nothing new there.

2 Traps:

The first is a crossfire style airstrike - The button is contained in the bunker under the floor.

The second is used when the airstrike is activated and the person is too slow to get under the floor before the doors close. The button is under the chest of draws, which once pressed releases snarks into the underfloor corridors.

There is a jumppad, lift and working stereo playing a few tune.

This is not a well constructed map, but it is quite fun in medium to large numbers of people.

This map needs 3 players.

Half-Life: Deathmatch Forestrats_ro

Pretty cool map, never got a good release since all the review sites where no longer being kept up. It features random wood land sounds and a few extra sounds when players join and leave the game. I got a lot of good feed back from the playtesters at the time.

Half-Life: Deathmatch Shadowrats_ro

A pretty fun little map based in a back yard and under a structure. I added a cool little extra that allows the players to hear a variety of screams when players are killed, good for a few laughs and quite enjoyable ;) .

Half-Life: Deathmatch CAULDRON_RO

My newest creation and the next to be released. A castle theme map with R_speeds bellow 800 in all locations while maintaining an awesome unique look. You'll find just about everything you'd expect to find in a castle theme map(except the r_speeds, lol).

(UPDATE) This map may end up dedicated to the BROKEN REALM mod, Maybe.
