Cool stuff, but aren't they just photos with overlays and various filters?

Death, the images look nice, but I don't see much craftsmanship value or variation in any of them. It's hard to believe that any of them have any meaning at all besides 'hey look at this pretty dirt texture I overlaid' when the same technique is used for nearly every photo.

And they don't have to be so huge, do they?

i'll ignore that...

and i hate it when "experts" critise people who have only been using a program for a short period of time...

You gotta spend more time on them... I could see quite easily the edges where you added colour, which you really shouldn't be able to see too easily (referring to the "I Only Remember Her hair" pic). The other picture is cool though I don't like the red eyes, seem too artificial in colouration to the rest of the image.

I really like Deamon Issue 2, cool pic with the darked out eyes... Correct me if I'm wrong but you've used the same person for every picture right?

Although this said I have to agree with Cassius in some way... I used to do photography A Level and one thing we learnt is that its cool and all to make a nice looking picture, but its even cooler to make it have meaning- you need to find the X-Factor

As for mapping, you should keep going. Never put all your eggs in 1 basket, even hobby wise.

Deamon Issue 2 was my favroite one too.. and yes it was the same lady..

i don't really have time to take ages on them.. and i'll try to touch up current images when i can... but as for meanings.. well thats another matter

And the fact that you're new to Photoshop exempts you from all criticism?

You say you don't have time for them, and yet in your first post you say you've had such a great time with PS that you haven't opened Hammer in three months.

If you don't want my criticism, don't post a thread here, and don't ask specifically for just that.

Just something small I noticed in this picture:

The whole eye on the right is colored red/pink, including the part that is usually white, but the white part on the other eye is normal colored while only the middle part is colored.

Gah, I feel so stupid cuz I forgot all my "EYE VOCABBULARY". Excuse my primitive wording, but I jsut thought I would men tion that.
