I'm working on a new map and I'm stuck w\o some models. I suck at making them so I'm hoping someone will be willing to help.
I have the ideas and pics for them so if you want to help I'll send them to ya.
Should be nothing difficult for someone with the knack for building them

Yea, if you're looking for help, you're gonna have to give up the goods -so to speak. Do they need to be animated? -Or are they static? are they organic, or orthogonal? Posting the pics of what you're looking for might be of great help for those who might be interested in helping you. ;)

Tada!

It's a monitor (a very shitty screen shot that doesn't do the model 10% justice, but it's a model), what's that? you say you didn't want a monitor?

Well next time you should probably state what kind of model you want next time.

Look, don't get us wrong, and i realize i could have made a more polite post like aaron and riven, but we need to know what you need, eg, I'm absolutely useless with organic models, but i can make a monitor fine (like the one posted here), and at the same time i can make some nice models, but i can't texture to save my life, let alone uv map my models.

We just need some info that's all.

EDIT: You can have the monitor if you want btw :P

I read the whole post, you want us to pm you.

I think it'd be better if you posted some more information here, at least you should let us know the things that Riven mentioned because like me, I can't really make good organic models or animate well.

Well, it's a Catch-22. People don't know if they want to help or not until they see some specific details, and the requester doesn't want to divulge the specific details until he/she knows they have someone who wants to help. Unless you were offering some other benefit, I don't see this happening; it's a game of trust, and the internet usually requires a lot of it.

I would send you a PM but I don't know if I want or can handle the job. So, I didn't want to waste your time and your patience by not offering to do the model :/ after seeing it. I guess you would just feel 'cheated on' by me.

I don't think anyone here is wanting to steal your ideas. We're just wanting to help in the best way possible.

Good luck with your modeler hunt though.

I'll post some pics of the stuff when I get home from work today.
If you don't want to or can't help thats fine, if you can thats cool too.
It's just some furniture.

See nothing fancy just some retro furniture from the 60's and 70's. I can skin them if nothing else or maybe my son-in-law can if I can talk him into it. I hate to ask him him since he works for a game company I can't cough mention here.

That would be great. I'm still trying to figure softimage out, I still cant get some of it though. I do lack the time to really dig into it.
