Far Cry

New Demo leaked from a PC Gamer exclusive.Not available in US yet but I got it from a post at the far cry forums so they must be OK with it. I uploaded it to the diner:

Just extract it to your farcry directory, and make sure to have -DEVMODE added to your target in the .exe properties.pretty killer new level .

Start the game and select research from the menu. Worked fine for me. No glitches or nuthin!

I played it, the first demo that is.

Gameplay is pretty good for your standard FPS-type play, but they didn't use any of the unique aspects of their own game to improve upon tried-and-true concepts.

Graphics of course are good, though a nature-mapper like myself has some nitpickage to make upon some of their mapping (jungle floor does not just blur into beach sand, thank you very much, and that jungle floor is certainly not composed entirely of blue-green ivy.) It looked much worse in the screenshots, to be honest.
