Ahh yes ain`t that fresh....?? --> NO! Where`s the Q3 sign in the map menu? :sailor:

Yes I know ,a dead squirrel is funnier than me :dorky:

So , i had to choose a "?". Anyway , to the map:

It`s my first real Q3 map. After my last HLDM map I wanted to work with a more modern engine! And it should be pure DM , because i like mapping for that mode , it offers the most possibilities for a mapper. And that`s the result!

Any C&C?

PS : The Layout ( The Quad has been replaced with a Red Armor!!!)

PS2: Name`s not final yet! Any suggestions?

The first shot is extremely boring, but the others look pretty awesome, especially for your first proper map in the engine. I really like the atmosphere, dont ask me why. Some rather bland featureless walls, and suspect texture choices, but all in all it looks like a decent first effort, so good job

Love the second shot. I've been meaning to get started on Q3 mapping and this map has me inspired.

I'm available to own you in Q3... Send me a link to the map and I'll check out the layout/item placement. I have much experience with q3dm, so maybe I can help you out.

Overall, nice map (especially for a first??)...

Layout seems to be pretty decent, you can get from one point to another in seconds... However, your lack of proper clipping/func_illusions really hinders the ability to strafe jump throughout the map. In particular, the door frames and the computers above the RL.

Second, the item placement pretty much sucks. There are only 3 weapons to be found in the whole map, not much ammo, and only 3 +25 healths (that I could find). I may be wrong, it may work out, but I won't know for SURE until I've played against someone.

Third, the lifts are much too slow. I love the idea, but they are too slow! You'll die on them before you can reach the top. Speed them up!

I would like to play the map with you and I can give further criticism ingame. Private message me when your available along with aim/msn/icq information.
