Hello,

Its probably something real simple I am just make it complex probably. I made a satellite dish, I would like to add a sound to in. I place the entity env_soundscape on it now how do I pick the sound for it? Thx for the help will be greatly appreciated.

That's something else. Try the ambient_generic (just like HL1 :smile: )

Thank You that worked =). See if you can answer this one also. First when I want sounds for things loke grass and when moving from grass to metal and all the sounds to the level to I have to add it for each material or is that already done? Also when I add a custom sound I know I have to insert it into the gfc file, but like I am going to be given this to someone to place on there server how will they insert those sounds on the server? or when I complie it will it create some kind of sound folder? Thx again

Footstep sounds are automatic. And with custom sounds, we're still working that one out, there should be a tutorial up later with the answer.
