I used the paint alfa option in Hammer editor and in the editor everything seemed fine. The textures were blending nicely, but when I run the map and start the game there are no blendings. I've tried with css, hl2 and hl2dm

Search is your friend but i've read they only work if you run vis or
rad (or maybe both?). That should work, if not try adding a light
too just to be on the safe side

I've ran vis and rad and added light too but the can't see the
blendings  Would you need screenshots or do you get the picture??
Anybody had this problem?? Could I see some ingame screenshots of the
blendings?

Ive just had the exact same problem! I found that I had to run a Rad and Vis Compile to get it to work. And of course you need lights, try a normal light and a spotlight.

thanks

I got it working (still having a LOT of problems tough). Can't say what
I did really because it just suddenly worked when I compiled, but for
anyone else having this problems these sure are good answers.
