Material glass/glasswindowbreak070b is depending on itself through materialvar $crackmaterial! Ignoring...
i'm getting this error message alot when applying cubemaps to windows that at breakable_surf, which seemingly work ok.
does anyone know why, and what i can do to remove it, whilst still cubemapping the windows?

Apply glasswindowbreak070a.
The B texture is relying on itself for a 'break' texture, so it's going to apply that when it breaks but it's already applied, so you're confusing the engine. I think, and thus it's not cubemapping properly.

yeah thats kind of what i was thinking, its strange, it works grand on some windows, but not other (all windows shatter correctly)
what i've done was to delete all my windows and redo them to try and get rid of this, but now my cubemapped floors look nowhere near as good - i was getting the skybox reflect off floors and it looked really good, now it's just not quite the same...
could someone do a tutorial on cubemapping? i would appreciate it greatly :biggrin:

the texture it has a problem with is glass/offwndwd. neither glasswindowbreak070a or b are used in my map at all.
