What is $staticprop

What is a $staticprop and how do I sort this problem?

It means you can't use that model for that type of prop. I don't know
how to fix it, but you can allways look for other models :smile:

Trying putting the model into the map as a prop_physics, I believe the "matress" has some physics stuff built into it...

Well I don't know if there are any other matress models... I might try it with prop_physics

I've had that problem from time to time too...setting a static prop when the engine wants it to be a physics prop. In that case, I set it as a physics prop and then set the flags so that it takes as little input from the user as possible, ie motion disabled, etc.

Ah well, doesn't work, i'll just have beds without matress's... it's an old prison anyway, doubt it would have matress's still.

to use the mattress it has to be a prop_ragdoll :smile:
