Why shouldn't I compile with VIS and RAD on 'Fast'?

I know that there HAS to be a catch because if there wasn't then why would they bother having a normal setting

Fast compile is a quick way to test stuff. Expert spends more time, makes r_speeds (or whatever they are now) a bit lower because it calculates better values.

In short, expert looks better and should be done on final compiles or when you feel like doing it. Fast is for tests.

Because it's fast and gives worse results- both lighting and visibility wise? And I wasn't aware you could do a 'fast' RAD anyway...
