Maybe some of you know me from there. I been working on mapping and modeling for the later part of 2 months now. I have previous coding experience etc. Really been trying to get used to Hammer. I basically want to take Faceoff and bring it to HL2. I 'own' the code to Faceoff. If people are REALLY interested in joiining up to do a mod for HL2, let me know. I'm not giving any details and even if I don't have a team I'm going ahead on my own, just as Hegi did for Faceoff. Just checking if anyone interested. My mod will port Faceoff from UT to Source and then add the gameplay elements I wanted to have in Faceoff. Those wondering what happened to Faceoff. Lets say a lot of internal politics and a lot of deception that I didn't want to be a part of. We all left the project to start another one but you know how it is when someone says this and someone says that everyone starts getting peeved. Well this time I'm not gonna make the mistakes that happened in Faceoff. This mod is/will be legitimate mod and I am truly going for the most original and best mod for UT. I believe my ideas can make this mod better than anything going for HL1 or HL2. If you are interested let me know. My role in the project. To share in the coding and to guide the development etc. It did seemingly work well in Faceoff for the good days the project was still alive.

Anyhow, let me know. I don't want any BS participants. Meaing if you are a troublemaker don't even bother asking. We are doing this for no money or anything. Simply doing it to finally bring a original set of gaming ideas to a community that is starved of imagination. I have been working now in Source for a good amount of time and I really like the potential and I'm convinced my ideas can easily be ported to Source.

I'm not BS'ing anyone. If you want to join up with me and you got some talents or previous work, let me see some. Last time was great in UT in the 'good' days.. but this time I'm going to be very very careful on selection. I'm not letting one or two people ruin this for everyone. And for those that read to this point. I know developers in various companies who are regular contacts on my MSN. I know personally developers of Tactical Op's, people from Rockstar Games and from Ubi Soft. I been playing Games since before PC's were even around. Hope this all helps. I been debating Faceoff on Source for a while. And for those of you who wanted to know, no, I didn't get any money for Faceoff when Hegi won in the contest, he took the money and ran. If that tells you anything. I developed a website for him and also got him additional programmers modelers and mappers etc. We went from a 3 man team to 15. Had some amazing talent on that team, unfortunately everyone went their own way and some got jobs with current gaming companies.
