I am not sure what this error means.. but im on the last stages of my map... adding lights, sounds, and details... but i get mutiple errors when compiling... they all say the same thing..

"Too many light faces at (1400, 135, -42)" ...or some coordinates such as that..

Does anyone know what this means? any ideas on how to fix it? right now i have normal lights... some spot lights... and i put little appearance changes on the lights like strobes and such.....

either way the error is buggin me!

also.. not sure if this is related... but i load up the level and play...whenever i look away from the center of the map i have 130 fps... then when i look toward the center of the map i have 15-20 fps..... does this have to do with lights? or is this something different entirely? obviously the map will be unplayable at 20 fps.. ! =(

Any help is appreciated! thanks in advance

WARNING: Too many light styles on a face (###,###,###)
As the error suggests, there are either too many named lights lighting an area, or too many different light appearance types. Reduce the complexity of your lighting in the area of the co-ordinates given.
Also, post your entire compile log as it states when adding a new topic.

if you'd bothered to search the database, as it instructs you to, you would have probably found the solution I posted above.

I was going to berate him too, but he said "Too many light faces" which might be a different error to "Too many light styles on a face." But still, as it says post your compile log; for your lag issue, why don't you fix this lighting error first and then see anyway?

ok well im sorry to be so newbie... lol..anyways...i believe i have fixed the light issue.. the error is no longer present.. however... my next question.. is there a way to keep mutiple apperances in one hallway? or will it always give me an error...

and on another note.. the lag is still present in full force!.... 20 fps when i look towards the center of the map and... 120 fps (which is good) when i look away from the center... its almost as if its loading the entire map even though i have walls blocking it from seeing it?
