<!-- ZoneLabs Popup Blocking Insertion -->Hello
I have a problem with XSI, it exports my models sideways, that is, they end up 90 degrees rotated when placing them in hammer. So far ive worked around this with static models, by just rotating them "up" in hammer, but its become a problem when making more complicated models
So far, what Im doing is building the models in Zmodeler (basically a modeller for car games, since thats what im used to) , export them in 3ds and import into XSI. The models are the right way up there, textures showing and all. I cant figure it out. Ive tried clicking on those 3 buttons when exporting to SMD format but no luck.
Any help is appreciated...
EDIT: oh yeah, ive also tried Milkshape 3D, but this is designed for halflife 1 and doesnt support "weighed bones" or something.

Off the top of my head the only thing I can ask is are you modelling the correct way up ? Perhaps the software you are used to has a different layout and you have them mixed up. I've not had this problem with XSI.
