Halflife 2 Deathmatch wont refresh map list. thi shappen every few
weeks and to fix it i have to re-instal source SDK this is really
pissing me off. Is there a console command that tells it to do it?

Sorry, you need to describe your problem more.
But by what I get from it, have you tried restarting Steam? Then reloading Half-Life 2 DeathMatch?
Or have you tried typing "maps *" in console?
