no textures in hammer

when i started hammer today, everything was purple black tiled, and
when i had a look at the textures, they were all gone exept of 3 or 5,
and they were just white, even though they were named something like
concretewall or concretefloor, well nevermind that, but i have been
working on this map for about 1 month now, and then hammer had to f**k
it up.

anyone know about this

I had that issue before. Restart Hammer OR Source SDK OR Steam. It worked for me then.

that doesnt work, i tried it several times, i also tried to refresh the
sdk content, didnt work, and i found out that theres nothing in the
meterials flag in the options, where there usually is textures.wad and
something else, now theres nothing

Hm, so you even refreshed the sdk content. Well now thats a tough one.

Maybe you ran out of memory - really don't know - sorry mate.

Can you browse for textures in the list still, or are they different/empty? It might just be that Hammer is loading up a different game/mod to the one you were mapping for, so that the textures are now unavailable until you switch back...

the sdk is set to hl2 dm, and when i browse all i see is white squres...5 white squres, rest is gone
