It's a rather odd bug. I have a working assault but it has an odd
bug in it that I can't figure out. I've checked the tutorials for
running an assault over and over and it's not anything covered in
that. I've got plenty of ground nodes surrounding the area so
it's not that either.

What happens: The assault starts, all the soldiers follow their
designated path(s) and are INTENTIONALY interrupted by 2
antlions. Both of these are spawned via npc_template_maker.
The problem seems to be getting them BACK onto the assault path.

Once they've cleared the encounter with the antlions ALL but the very
last NPC to spawn just sits there (no idle animation either). The
last one that was spawned will pace a few steps as if patroling and
then return to the assault path and finish it out. The others
take anywhere from 15-30 seconds to finaly do something.

Strangely, the others that have gone idle or asleep, can be awoken by
shooting/attacking them OR the ground/air around them. They'll
all immediately pick up the assault path once again and finish it out
as if nothing happened.

The message that comes up while testing the map (thank god for
developer mode) is: "Asking LastKnownPosition for enemy that's not in
my memory!!"

I think this may have something to do with the problem but I have no idea where to start.

im probably wrong but,

i havent done any ai in source yet however if its anything like the original would it be possible to when they kill the antlions off, make the last one that they kill trigger the assault again with only a .01 second delay

and it might also be possible force them to stick with thier assault ai

i dont know but its a thought
the only problem with steam updating things every week is it doesent give the developers an incentive to playtest thier work, so we do it for them
