I'm making a map that requires a large sphere. Specifcially a remake of the CS:S map Starwars2. I don't know much about displacement, but I was wondering how I'd go about making a sphere in Hammer, which I could carve. When I try to carve a regular subdivided cube, it goes crazy. If this isn't possible, can anyone suggest something else?

Thanks.

Don't carve.

And if you just want a sphere, use the sphere tool.

If you want it hollow ... follow this tutorial:

Or this one:

Blame it on Microsoft, God does.
