I used to get this when I put a single overlay on too many surfaces
(due to clipping or something like that). Try temporarily removing all
the overlays and see what happens.

Thanks dude it worked, but now the problem is that i cant add more of
these now...and whenever i add one it says the same thing,i dont need
decals atm but if someone knows how to fix it if i want to add some
later, please tell me thx...

Do you have a screenshot of the area you are trying to put the overlay?

Try grouping the area.

The error occurs when you apply an overlay to a surface, and there are
lots of other surfaces along the same line (or "plane" if you like -
that is, they all have identical x, y or z values). Try varying the
height of the surfaces or applying the overlays to different surfaces.
Alternatively, if normal decals will suffice, use them.
