I've tried trigger_hurt and point_hurt entities, but these always do different damage each time by a small amount (eg. when I tried the first time it got me down to 10, but then the next time I went down to 11). Any ideas on how to make a client's hp go down to 1 HP in CS:S?

Also as a side note when doingdamage to people in CS when using entities you have to do the damage you want multiplied by around 4.125 because for some reason the CS:S peopleare much more resiliant to damage.
Reckless disregard for childrens well being, women and nothing but utter contempt for other cultures.

You could calculate the height it would take to make a person get
damage to 1 hp and make the spawns that high. Or you could make each of
them spawn on their own floating glass that breaks on touch and
does 99 damage when broken. Or you could just use the mani thing and
slap everyone 99.

Here, try this, it should work :
 • Make a huge trigger brush around the map
 • Tie it to trigger_hurt
 • Damage: type 198

 • Name this brush: hurt
 • go to outputs
 • My output name: on hurtplayer
 • Targer Entities name: hurt

 • Via this input: Disable
What it will do is that when the each round starts, it will reduce
the hp to 1, and get disabled until the next round...i tested it, the
damage doesnt change to a different amount, just make sure you dont
play with damage cap nor the other stuff...

This is an easy way

Hope it helps
