Hello, just popping in here to get some comments, feedback, suggestions, ect. This is a single player/multi player coop map for the mod DC coop(---competitor to Sven Coop i think). This is the outdoor area of my current map, and an elevator leads up into it. The area below the building is a lab area (which is done, but uncompilied). The basic theme is a flooded city...as you can plainly tell. I am searching for new textures, a skymap, and a new water texture...so if I find any of those I will update this picture right here. This is what I have compilied so far...

I will compile a lab shot to show tonight(or this morning, for most everyone here  )

I was so hoping for a Desert Crisis map D:

But anyway, the lighting is fine, texturing is not. In that wide of a space, you would have to have some pretty f**ked-up stuff in the water to make it so green at night.

Maps with large underwater sections have never really worked, to my knowledge; I don't know if that's going to be a factor in this one, but yeah.

Doc Cass... :dodgy:

Deert crisis is a kickass mod...I'll talk to the DCcoop mod leader about changing the name soon. The map isnt submerged in water, I know about the problems it causes. I will fix up my lab area to seem like flooding damage has taken place and I will make "leaky areas" within the wall(possibly out of func_breakable parts).

Speaking of Desert Crisis, I can convert a couple of my maps to it if you would like me to...I thought it ran out of people who played it.

How do you propose solving the problem of the horrible transition between the sky and water?

Post some closeups of the buildings, can't really make much out to give any feedback.
