How can i make alyx hold a weapon_357 (the Deagle or what weapon was this) cant realize how to make it so Help

I went to hammer and tried that... Didnt find any possible way... What you can try is in alyx's options in "prevent picking up weapons" put NO and then put a 357 on the ground and expect she picks it up...
